Nyanna Flynn
Nyanna
Nyanna is a versatile songwriter, able to work, sing and write in many genres. Songs range from
sultry jazz styling, to the singable, approachable children’s sounds you hear on Preschool Adventure,
to rock ‘n blues tempered with a down home country sensibility. As co-ordinator of the York Region RWG,
many songs in her repertoire have been written through meeting the challenges set by the group each month.
It was at Humber’s prestigious summer songwriting workshop that Nyanna hooked up with producer/writer
Rene Flynn (now husband), and in the six years since that meeting the two have written over 100 songs together.
The combinations of their talents means that no topic or style is without possibilities.
